In Krasnoyarsk, a record 9.9 million rubles will be spent on fireworks on the occasion of Victory Day. Information about this appeared on the State Procurement website.
According to the documents, fireworks will be launched on May 9 at 22:00 from two points simultaneously – from a barge opposite the Yenisei Lights hotel and near the Krasnoyarye shopping center. Almost 2.5 thousand pyrotechnic shells will be lifted into the sky.
Before launch, the contractor will prepare a 3D visualization of the show so that the program can be viewed on a computer. After the holiday, he will provide a panoramic video report.
Everything has been coordinated with the police, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Regional Air Traffic Control Center.
Let us recall that in December 2025, Governor Mikhail Kotyukov signed a decree that regulates the use of pyrotechnics in the Krasnoyarsk Territory during the New Year and May holidays, as well as the sale of alcohol.
The information in the document states that in the period from December 30 to January 8 and from April 28 to May 11, it is prohibited to use fireworks, firecrackers, salutes and similar pyrotechnics. However, firecrackers, sparklers and cold fire fountains are permitted.
The restriction applies to both citizens and organizations. The exception is official events organized with the participation of regional authorities or local governments of municipalities.
