Context
On June 5, the Kazakh Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Federation was testing military drones in Kazakhstan. This happened after several UAV crashes in the West Kazakhstan region. “More than 90% of the UAVs that were found on the territory of the West Kazakhstan region are located within the boundaries of the test site of the 926th flight test center of Russia. They have a place, this is their test site. The airspace above the test site is used by the test center,” the deputy minister said.
