Almost 12 tons of KitKat bars disappeared on their way to Poland. There is an appeal to customers


A shipment of special edition KitKat bars, which are shaped like a Formula 1 car, disappeared on the route from Italy to Poland over a week ago. In total, the truck transported almost 414,000. pieces of these sweets. Their total weight was almost 12 tons.

The cargo has not been found yet. According to Nestle, an investigation is being carried out in close cooperation with local authorities and the company's supply chain partners.

Nestle's announcement states that the stolen bars may be sold unofficially – both in Poland and other European countries. As it turns out, they can be easily identified by scanning the unique batch code assigned to it from the bar's packaging. “In the event of compliance, instructions will be automatically provided on how to report the matter to the KitKat brand, which will forward this information to the appropriate services,” we read.
