Mircea Lucescu (80 years old) fainted during Sunday training of the national team and ended up in the hospital bed again at the University. The selector was not forgotten by his former students from Rapid and Dinamo, who sent him a message through Gazeta Sporturilor.
Mircea Lucescu has health problems again, and the Romanian team took off for Bratislava without him. Il Luce is hospitalized at the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital and will be kept under observation.
Florin Prunea, Costel Orac, Ștefan Nanu and Cristi Dulca, his former students, gave a reaction to Gazeta Sporturilor, in which they sent all the best to the selector.

Florin Prunea:The coaching job is hard, with a lot of stress, and sometimes difficult moments arise. I hope he is well and that he thinks seriously about his health, because that is the most important thing. It's a beautiful job, but very stressful, especially when you do it with passion, and Mircea Lucescu does it at the highest level.
He should be under observation. He has a beautiful family, grandchildren, and now is the time to take care of his health. He is dependent on the field and the job, sure, but everyone close to him will talk to him. Now is the time to put health first, and then return to football”.
Stefan Nanu: “The greatest Romanian coach! I hope he is healthy and overcomes this setback. Mircea Lucescu has always been on the field, he wants to give everything, he wants it very much and he doesn't give up. However, now he has to think about his family and his health, because these are the most important. It's time to take a break.”
Costel Orac: “We can't wish him anything but good health, he has to get through this hoop. We have to be with him and wish him good health and he has the strength to get better. He's a fighter.
And this match was difficult, at a high level, and Mircea Lucescu knew what it meant, being a game with a huge stake. As we know, he puts all his soul and skill into the game to win. This disappointment, against the background of the state of health, turned everything upside down”.
Cristi Dulca:I see, I feel sorry for his situation. Everyone is with him, with a good thought, and may God grant that he be well and be healthy!
Today I passed by the place where he celebrated his birthday and I thought about this life. Today you are fine and tomorrow everything can change. In life, the most important thing is to be healthy.”
