According to the data published by the daily “Marca”, collected by Sportal.BG, the Madilen club has accumulated 43.55 million euros so far, and “citizens” are a little behind, 42.51 million. The Bavarians secured 37.6 million euros.

Each of these clubs will receive another 6.45 million euros for participation in the finals. The qualification in the quarterfinals would bring another 11.28 million euros, and a place in the semifinals adds another 18 million.

The losing team from the final will receive 25.9 million euros, and the winner will receive another 34.3 million euros only for the success of the final.

Of the teams that reached the finals, Inter Miami, Al-Hilal and Monterrey received the smallest amounts, 18.11 million euros. Of the teams already eliminated, Auckland City remained with the smallest amount, 3.94 million euros.

Before the start of the tournament, FIFA announced the amounts that will be distributed to the 12 European clubs, amounts based on the coefficient of the respective teams in the UEFA ranking for the four seasons between 2021 and 2024.

To these were added commercial criteria, based on the interest generated by the club, the revenues generated from his matches and the position in the UEFA ranking for the economic evaluation.

According to all these criteria, Real Madrid received the largest amount for participation, 32.8 million euros. Manchester City had 30.9 million, and Bayern – 28 million.

The “citizens” managed to approach the Madilen club because they became the only team that won all the matches in the group stage. This brought City to another 5.16 million euros.

The winner of the competition can receive up to 107 million euros.
