Accident between a school minibus and a truck in Dâmboviţa county. The Red Intervention Plan has been activated / a SMURD helicopter intervenes

A school minibus and a truck collided on Friday morning in the town of Tartăşeşti, Dâmboviţa county. Following the accident, the Red Intervention Plan was activated, considering the large number of people involved, informs the Department for Emergency Situations.

The accident happened around 07:50.

“According to the first data, a collision between a school minibus and a group of vehicles would have occurred within the radius of Tărtăşeşti. As a result of the event, several people were injured and received medical attention,” IPJ Dâmboviţa reported.

Considering the large number of people possibly involved, the Red Intervention Plan was activated at the Dâmboviţa county level, DSU stated.

To manage the situation, numerous resources were mobilized:

• 11 SMURD crews, supplemented by 2 more SMURD crews from ISU Bucharest-Ilfov

• 2 special extinguishing vehicles with extrication mode

• 1 extrication vehicle

• 1 special vehicle for personal transport and multiple victims (ATPVM)

• 1 advanced medical post (PMA)

• 5 ambulances of the County Ambulance Service

• 1 SMURD helicopter

“The operative crews act to provide first aid, assess the victims and manage the situation on the spot,” stated the DSU.
