A new factory is being built near the A4 motorway. We know when it's going to start

According to information from “NTO”, the foundations are already being poured at the construction site in Zimna Wódka (Ujazd commune, Opole Voivodeship), which indicates that the implementation of the PLN 100 million investment has started in earnest. This will be Baumit's fourth factory in Poland and will produce, among others: plasters, facade paints, mortars and concretes. The plant is being built in the Economic Activity Zone of the Ujazd commune, located between two exits of the A4 motorway and covering an area of approximately 750 ha.

The new factory will increase Baumit's production capacity
Baumit bought the land from the commune several years ago. The investment is to cover an area of approximately 5 ha. It is to be modern and automated, but it will still provide new jobs for at least several dozen people. Details about this are not known yet. Construction is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2027, with production expected to start immediately afterwards.
— The construction of another production plant is a strategic step in the development of Baumit in Poland. The new factory will increase our production capacity, and its location near the A4 motorway in the Opole region will allow us to shorten delivery times in the south of the country. Shorter transport routes will also contribute to reducing the carbon footprint, which is part of our Go2morrow sustainable development strategy, says Zbigniew Kaliciński, president of Baumit, quoted by “NTO”.
