Peter Magyar announced his decision on Sunday evening in an entry on the X website. The politician went to Vienna, where he performed a comprehensive drug test in a certified Austrian laboratory. The study included all psychoactive substances, and the material for analysis was a hair sample.

Peter Magyar announces regular checks on politicians
The TISHA leader explained that he decided to conduct the study in response to accusations from the ruling party and its “propaganda machine.” Magyar claims that the Fidesz leadership regularly uses drugs, which is the reason for his public test.
— A hair sample can detect any drug use over a long period of time. As I mentioned, I have never taken drugs, but since party leaders who regularly use them and their propaganda machine keep accusing me of it, I will now prove it with an official test. I will publish the results as soon as I receive them, the politician declared.
The leader of the opposition party presented plans for the future anti-drug policy if he takes power. He announced systemic solutions covering all parliamentarians.
— I will introduce regular alcohol and drug tests for politicians, Magyar announced.
