More than 700 customers in Sector 1, without gas due to rehabilitation works on the tram line
Distrigaz Sud Rețele interrupted the gas supply for 726 customers in the Clăbucet area, Sector 1, following a breakdown in the gas supply network as a result of the rehabilitation works on the tram line.
The supply of natural gas in that area was stopped on Sunday, starting at 06:14, the company announced in a statement.
726 household and non-household customers located on Bucegi, Carpaţi, Clăbucet, Dornei, Parângului, Aviator Popişteanu, Putţul lui Crăciun, Săcele, Scarişoara and Soveja streets, in sector 1 of the Bucharest municipality, are affected.
Distrigaz Sud teams are on site to fix the defect. The resumption of natural gas supply to the affected customers will be done on Sunday, around 20:00.
The representatives of the Distrigaz Sud Rețele company recommend that after the resumption of natural gas supply, if they smell gas, they should call the Gas Emergency Call and Troubleshooting Center at the telephone numbers: 021 9281, 031 9031 or 0800 877 778.
Customers are also urged to ventilate the room immediately, do not cause sparks, do not operate electrical switches, do not use electrical appliances and, if possible, close the natural gas supply valve.
