Despite the fact that U Cluj thus ticked off the sixth consecutive victory in the Superliga, Cristiano Bergodi is not thinking about the title yet, noting that the objective of his team at the moment is to rank in a place that leads to the European cups.

Cristiano Bergodi, after U Cluj reached 6 consecutive victories in the Superliga: “Result of hard work”

“It is very difficult to win here. We managed in a short time to create a homogeneity, a group. Whoever comes from the bench does his job. In this group all the players want to win.

We must at least return to the European Cups, let this be a result of the work done”, said Cristiano Bergodi on the show “Fotbal Club” from Digi Sport.

U Cluj won away from Mioveni thanks to the incredible blunder of Cătălin Căbuz, who deflected the ball into his own goal in an attempt to clear the ball.

Immediately after the international break, U Cluj will travel to Bucharest for the match with Rapid, and in the fourth stage they will receive the visit of the University of Craiova. The play-off round will be concluded by the team coached by Cristiano Bergodi, also in the capital, against Dinamo.

It was a bit of luck on our side and we brought the 3 points home. Yes, we are thinking about a big goal, but we are taking it one game at a time. We don't think long term, we take each match individually, to win and take the 3 points. Our quality is that we all have the same thought, we are together, we fight for each other and that makes the difference.
