NordStar Airlines summed up the results of work on the federal project “Labor Productivity”

March 20 11:47

NordStar Airlines presented the results of the implementation of the federal project “Labor Productivity” during the visit of the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov to the aircraft maintenance workshop at the Krasnoyarsk airport.

The “Labor Productivity” project is part of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”. Project experts help enterprises in non-resource industries eliminate shortcomings in the production process and train employees in modern methods of increasing labor efficiency.

Among the main achievements of the airline:

  • Increasing overall labor efficiency;
  • Recertification according to the requirements of FAP-145;
  • Expanding the competencies of employees servicing aircraft.

Over the course of 2025, the NordStar Airlines maintenance shop has significantly reduced the time required for basic aircraft maintenance, which is carried out every 24 months. Average annual output increased by 45% relative to the 2023 baseline.

Shop employees now have the opportunity to independently repair removable on-board catering equipment and the aircraft water system. This provided significant cost savings – up to 11 million rubles per year.

Also, NordStar Airlines has successfully passed recertification according to the requirements of FAP-145. Thanks to this, she expanded her scope of activities, receiving a B1 rating. It gives the right to carry out procedures for the preservation and re-preservation of engines on the ground.

Over the past year, 138 A-check aircraft maintenance procedures were carried out (regular aircraft maintenance every 1,000 flight hours) and C-check maintenance was performed on four NordStar airline aircraft.

“I am pleased to note that the performance of NordStar Airlines as an aircraft maintenance organization is showing positive dynamics. Last year, we achieved significant results, increasing labor productivity due to the high competencies of our personnel, the use of modern technical equipment and access to up-to-date technical documentation. Ambitious tasks are planned for 2026: expanding the scope of activity in the repair of aircraft structures and their manufacture using high-tech machines. NordStar Airlines continues to consistently strive to improve the professional skills of its employees and maintain its leading position in ensuring reliability and high quality of service for the airline’s fleet,” said NordStar Airlines CEO Leonid Mokhov.
