The tugboat sank on Wednesday morning in Berth 1 of Midia Port. There were five people on board, ISU Dobrogea announced.
At the scene, the Department for Emergency Situations intervenes with 3 crews, 1 mobile intensive therapy crew, a helicopter, a SMURD B crew and a fire engine, a boat and a team of divers.
“One person is being resuscitated, being brought to the wharf”, according to the ISU.
According to Info Sud-Est, it is about the tugboat Astana, with a Romanian flag. The tug sank approximately 4 nautical miles south-east of the entrance to the port of Midia.
