“I have already said that Hungary's position remains unchanged. If Zelensky wants to get money from Brussels, he must open the Druzhba pipeline” — Orban said in a video, commenting on the exchange of letters between EU leaders and President Volodymyr Zelensky. “To President Volodymyr Zelensky: No oil supplies? There's no money. It's that simple“, Orban concluded.
Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó also sharply criticized Ursula von der Leyen's statement published on the X platform: “Good morning, Ursula von der Leyen! After almost 50 days, the European Commission has noticed that two Member States are subject to a blockade of oil supplies by Ukraine, and now promises to resolve the situation. Don't be fooled. It's a political game. Every step was agreed between Kiev and Brussels” – wrote on the X platform.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and EU Council President Antonio Costa announced on Tuesday that the EU would provide financial, technical and expert support to repair the pipeline, which – according to Brussels – still requires intervention.
Zelensky replied that it would take one to one and a half months to restore oil flows and that Ukraine was ready to look for alternative routes for supplying non-Russian oil to Central Europe.

Orban recalled that Last week, a Hungarian delegation visited Kiev, but the Ukrainians refused to meet and inspect the pipeline. According to Orban, such actions Brussels and Kyiv are trying to weaken his government before the parliamentary elections scheduled for April 12.
