Manchester City got into trouble at West Ham's ground, score 1-1, in the 30th round of the Premier League. The “Citizens” tied the second result and are currently 9 points behind leaders Arsenal. Indeed, the students of Pep Guardiola (55 years old) have a less contested match.

Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 tonight and are ever closer to the title with 7 games to go.

Manchester City, just a draw at West Ham's ground

Manchester City took the lead in the 31st minute. Bernardo Silva took advantage of Omar Marmoush's pass and cleverly beat goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.

The hosts' reaction came quickly. In the 35th minute, Jarrod Bowen took a corner and Mavropanos headed a powerful ball that hit the crossbar before going into the goal, 1-1.

In the second half, Manchester City put constant pressure on the “Knocks” goal. Mads Hermansen had an excellent performance though. The Danish goalkeeper intervened to save the shots of Erling Haaland and Matheus Nunes, and in the 78th minute he spectacularly rejected the attempt of Rayan Cherki.

Despite the pressure exerted by the “citizens” in the final minutes, West Ham held on until the end. The goal scored by Mavropanos in the first half proved decisive for determining the final result.

West Ham are in 17th place with 29 points after 30 games. For Manchester City, the Champions League return with Real Madrid follows on March 17. On the other hand, West Ham will travel to Aston Villa's field.
