In the Mansko-Uyarsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, traffic police inspectors had to use their service weapons to detain a minor motorist.
The incident occurred in early March. At night, while on duty at 1 km of the Partizanskoye-Mina highway, police noticed a VAZ-21074 and demanded that the driver stop, but he ignored them and tried to escape.
“The traffic inspectors began a pursuit. The driver did not respond to repeated demands to stop the car and, accelerating, continued driving. By his actions, the offender created a threat to other road users, and therefore the police decided to use their service weapons. The traffic police inspector fired a warning shot into the air and then into the body of the vehicle. As a result, in the village of Vershino-Rybnoye on Chapaev Street, the car was stopped,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

A 15-year-old boy was driving the vehicle. It turned out that he bought the car with his own money and, without his mother’s knowledge, decided to go to the village of Partizanskoye. Now the boy’s parents will be involved to administrative liability for improper performance of duties for his upbringing.
