A toxic substance was found in pet food from marketplaces.
Searches took place at a Russian animal food factory in the Tula region after the mass poisoning of dogs and cats with food from the Chammy brand, owned by Forsazh LLC, media reports. The examination showed that the lead content in dry and wet balls was exceeded. The company suspended operations.
Anyone who ate food containing heavy toxic metal ended up at the vet with severe poisoning. Main symptoms: vomiting, diarrhea, general lethargy.
