The Krasnoyarsk man took advantage of his neighbor’s trust and committed a crime.
In December last year, the local police duty station received a statement from a 65-year-old Krasnoyarsk woman. She said that 117 thousand rubles were stolen from her bank card. And the day before, a neighbor came to visit the woman, with whom she drank alcohol.
The man asked her for a loan of 11 thousand rubles, and she gave him her phone so that he could transfer the required amount to himself. After the feast, the victim fell asleep, and in the morning she discovered that 117 thousand rubles had been written off from her. from a bank account.
The police detained the suspect. It turned out that the 43-year-old neighbor, who had no previous convictions, took advantage of the fact that the woman had fallen asleep, transferred money to his account and withdrew it from a nearby ATM, after which he spent it on personal needs. During the investigation, the detainee reimbursed most of the amount of material damage.
A criminal case was initiated against the attacker. For theft he faces up to 6 years in prison. The materials of the criminal case have been sent to court.
