“It may not be true and it comes back”

Upon learning the news, the footballer couldn't believe it. He regrets this decision and hopes that the technician will reconsider his position, taking into account the performances they achieved together: two championships and two qualifications in the main group of the Europa League.

“Honestly, now I've heard, just now I've heard. We feel sorry for him, I don't know… maybe it's not true and he'll come back, because we've done nice things together and he's a very good coach, from my point of view.
But for us players, I think we would be sorry because we got along super well and we did some nice things together. I say, sorry. It was a shameful game from us, we are sorry. I really don't know what to say.
We have to move on, we are experienced players and we have to finish it. We aim to win the play-off and go to Europe. That's the most important thing and everyone should change their attitude and go in 100%.
You have to motivate yourself from my point of view because we are a lot of experienced players. I don't think anyone needs to come and motivate you, especially the coaches have done everything possible. The boss doesn't say anymore, that we have all the conditions and the most beloved club in the country, I don't think you're missing anything.
But it's a team sport and everyone has to forget what we did, because it's a shame we didn't make the play-offs, but we have to move on with our heads held high. We did nice things, we performed and we have to forget that we didn't get the play-off, but we have to move forward.
I think about my future, my game, what to do to be good. Who will come, if he comes, let someone with ambition come, to get us out of this state. But I always go on the premise that it's up to us, it's up to the players.
Whoever comes, if you don't come with motivation, you don't come with attitude, you don't come with anything, what will your coach do? Not! That's what I'm talking about, we're experienced players and it's passed. We have to go on and show through the game. That's my opinion”, said Valentin Crețu, at the mixed zone.
