According to Stenling, the vessel lacks seaworthiness and a navigation ban may be issued against the vessel, which will be decided by the Transport Authority. At the same time, the police are conducting their own investigation under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.

Stenling recalled that Caffa is on the Ukrainian sanctions list due to its involvement in the theft of grain from Ukraine.
