The number of missiles fired by Iran is decreasing “every day”, the Israeli military claims

The number of Iranian missiles launched at Israel is decreasing “every day”, a spokesman for the Israeli army told the press on Wednesday evening, reports AFP, taken over by Agerpres.

“We have neutralized approximately 300 ballistic missile launchers. We believe that our operations against these missile launchers and stockpiles largely explain why we are seeing a daily decrease in the number of missiles being fired” at Israel, Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani said.

Since the beginning of the war, the Iranians “launched several hundred projectiles on the region and dozens, or even several hundred, on Israel,” the officer explained.

“We are talking about many dozens (of rockets) on the first day, which gradually decreased to a few dozen, then to very small quantities, much smaller today,” he emphasized.

This Wednesday, “we saw two simultaneous bombings from Lebanon and Iran, on two separate occasions,” the spokesman said.

“We have seen a limited number of attacks coming from Iraq, mostly drones, but the vast majority of the fire is coming from Iran and now from Hezbollah,” he added.
