Abu Dhabi Airport has announced that one person has died following an “incident” at Zayed International Airport, Al Jazeera reports.
The airport agency said the incident at Zayed International Airport “resulted in the death of one Asian national and the injury of seven people”.
No other details were provided.
The agency also urged the public “not to spread rumors and false information.”
Problems at Dubai Airport too
Four people were injured after an “incident” at Dubai International Airport, authorities in the emirate said on Saturday night, as Iran continued to launch strikes on US bases in the Persian Gulf region.
Local authorities confirmed that an “incident” took place at the airport on Saturday night during the Iranian attacks, noting that four airport employees were injured and receiving medical treatment.
