According to News.ro, which cites the press office of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Timişoara Court of Appeal, it writes that the prosecutor of the case completed the criminal investigation and ordered, on February 25, the sending to court, in a state of freedom, of a defendant, having the capacity of a public notary, for tax evasion (a number of 22 material documents).

“In fact, it was held that the defendant collected monthly, between March 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023, the tax on income from the transfer of real estate properties from personal patrimony and did not pay within the term stipulated by law, namely 60 days from the due date, causing damage to the consolidated state budget of 1,535,078 lei”states the quoted source.

According to the same source, the indictment, accompanied by the criminal investigation file, was submitted, for the trial of the case, to the Timişoara Court of Appeal, with a proposal to maintain the insurance seizure instituted in the case.
