The Krasnoyarsk Territory has risen to 39th place in the ranking of regions for quality of life, compiled by RIA Novosti analysts.

Last year the region was in 40th place, but this year the region received 1.5 points more from experts, which allowed it to rise one point.

The top five rankings have not changed over the year: Moscow is in first place, followed by St. Petersburg, Moscow Region, Krasnodar Territory and Tatarstan.

The ranking is completed by the same top three as last year: the Jewish Autonomous Region in 83rd place, Ingushetia in 84th place and Tuva in the final 85th place.

“When calculating the rating, an analysis was carried out of 66 indicators based on more than 100 indicators, which were combined into 11 groups characterizing the main aspects of the quality of life in the region: the level of income of the population, employment and the labor market, housing conditions of the population, safety of residence, demographic situation, environmental and climatic conditions, public health and level of education, provision of social infrastructure, level of economic development, level of small business development, development of the territory and development of transport infrastructure,” the compilers of the rating recalled.
