ZUS simplifies service for companies. Officials refreshed a key portal


Initially, the new portal will reach 500,000. randomly selected ZUS clients. This applies to the part of the system intended for contribution payers. Phased implementation will allow for better observation of the system's operation after thorough modification.
The modernized payer account is to be more transparent, intuitive and adapted to the everyday needs of entrepreneurs. The website will provide quick access to the most important information about settlements with ZUS and employees' sick leave. The system will also facilitate access to submitted declarations and messages from the institution.

All applications in the system have gained a new form. Wizards guide you through the steps of creating a document, show your progress, and at the end clearly indicate whether it has been successfully sent. This solution reduces errors and facilitates submitting applications. ZUS introduced changes in response to customer suggestions and preceded them with a pilot program.
The new portal combines all payer matters into threads. Thanks to this, you can easily check what stage a given case is at and whether the institution has already responded to the correspondence.
— When working on the new version of the portal, we adopted design principles based on the user experience approach, i.e. from the user experience perspective. From the very beginning, we involved users in creating a friendly appearance and intuitive system functions. We carried out usability tests on mock-ups and piloted them with clients. We have built a system in which the payer, after logging in, immediately sees what is most important to him, and settling matters with ZUS is simple and does not take much time – said Sławomir Wasielewski, member of the management board supervising the Operations and Systems Exploitation Division at ZUS.

ZUS is also working on modernizing the profile of an individual client, i.e. the insured person and the beneficiary, as well as the bailiff and the doctor. There are also plans to modernize the ePłatnik application, which is used to submit insurance documents. In addition, the institution wants to develop mobile services. Soon, ZUS will make available the mZUS application for payers, which will be available to entrepreneurs and persons with power of attorney to an eZUS account. Users will be able to view information about balances and sick leave, send some applications, submit a contract for specific work or generate a certificate themselves.
