The head of the department of the Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Krasnoyarsk Territory is suspected of receiving a bribe (video)

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case of bribery against the head of one of the departments of the Federal Institution “Main Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise in the Krasnoyarsk Territory” and two residents of Krasnoyarsk.

According to investigators, in October 2025, while in one of the city’s shopping centers,head of the bureau department received, through an intermediary, a bribe from a woman in the amount of 200 thousand rubles for issuing a fictitious certificate of disability.

“The illegal monetary reward was intended for establishing a second group disability for a woman with a diagnosis of a general disease for a period of one year and issuing a certificate, without actually conducting a medical and social examination on her,” the Investigative Committee said.

Depending on their role and participation, the persons involved are suspected of committing crimes under clause “c” part 5 art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (receiving official bribes on a large scale), clause “b”, part 4 of Art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (giving a bribe to an official through an intermediary on a large scale), paragraph “b”, part 3 of Art. 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (mediation in bribery committed on a large scale).

The head of the bureau department and the intermediary were detained, the issue of choosing a preventive measure is being decided.
