Traffic is difficult on Wednesday night due to fog on the highways A0 Centura Bucharest, A2 Bucharest – Cernavodă, A3 Bucharest – Brasov and A7 Ploiesti – Adjud, but also on the roads from Ilfov and from the Capital, being favored by the formation of polei.

The Infotraffic Center of the Romanian Police informs that, at this time, there are no highways with traffic stopped as a result of unfavorable weather conditions.

But fog is reported, which reduces the visibility in traffic below 200 meters, in some places below 50 meters, on the A0 Centura Bucharest highways; A2 Bucharest – Cernavodă, kilometer section 10 – 105; A3 Bucharest – Braşov, kilometer section 28-60 and A7 Ploiesti – Adjud, between km 1 – 50.

The fog reduces visibility in traffic below 200 meters, in some places below 50 meters, on several roads in Ilfov county, but also in the city of Bucharest, favoring the formation of fog.

Road traffic is carried out in winter conditions, with snow deposits on the roadway, on the A1 Bucharest – Râmnicu Vâlcea, A2 Bucharest – Cernavodă, A3 Bucharest – Braşov, A7 Ploiesti – Adjud and A0 Centura Bucharest highways.

National roads closed due to weather

Traffic is closed due to unfavorable weather conditions on the following national roads:

  • DN 2S, Brăila municipality/BR – Jijila/Tulcea;
  • DN 22A Cataloi/Tulcea – Hârşova/Constanţa;
  • DN 22J, between Smârdan/Tulcea – Brăila bridge
  • DN 23B, between the towns of Măicăneşti – Ciorăşti/Vrancea.

National roads with restricted traffic for vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of more than 3.5 tons due to adverse weather conditions:

Constanta County:

  • DN 38 Vama Negru Vodă – Agigea;
  • DN 2A Giurgeni – Lumina/Constanța;
  • DN 3 Murfatlar – Ostrov (border with Călăraşi county);
  • DN 22 Lumina/Constanţa – the border with Tulcea county.

National roads with restricted traffic for vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of more than 7.5 tons also due to bad weather:

Tulcea County:

  • DN 22, between Smârdan – Măcin/Tulcea localities.
