In Krasnoyarsk, the annual board meeting of the regional Ministry of Finance was held at the regional philharmonic society.

The event was attended by Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the region Alexey Dodatko, Deputy Chairman of the regional government – Minister of Finance Vladimir Bakhar, heads of ministries and departments, as well as deputies of the regional parliament Sergey Zyablov, Viktor Kardashov, Vera Oskina, Vladimir Chashchin, Egor Vasiliev.

Vladimir Bakhar told the audience about the main indicators of the regional budget execution. He noted that for the first time in history, the consolidated budget of the region crossed the mark of 600 billion rubles, and the regional budget approached 500 billion. Revenues increased by approximately 40 billion rubles – a significant result against the backdrop of external instability.

Social priorities remain unchanged. More than 90 billion rubles were allocated for payments and support measures to SVO participants and members of their families. More than 90 billion rubles were also allocated for infrastructure – social, transport, utilities, roads. Support for territories is a separate topic – municipalities received 166 billion rubles (20 billion more than in 2024). Local budget revenues have increased by 27 billion rubles over the past year.

Governor Mikhail Kotyukov in his speech focused on the human dimension of budget policy. Speaking about the prospects, Mikhail Kotyukov outlined new accents: issues of family-centricity, increasing labor productivity, events within the framework of the Year of Unity of the Russian Nation. The head of the region noted that social obligations for the regional budget account for almost two-thirds of expenses: healthcare, education, social policy.

“The budget is not accounting, it is the course of power expressed in money,” Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Dodatko emphasized in his speech.

Last year, almost 319 billion rubles were allocated to education, social policy and support for citizens – 64% of all expenses. The dynamics are positive: social policy – plus almost 20 billion rubles, education – plus 13.8 billion. Particular attention is paid to supporting SVO participants.

Among the initiatives of the deputy corps, reflected in budget decisions: expansion of the route network of passenger air transportation, housing policy issues, construction of leisure centers, changing approaches to calculating transport tax, launching the “Zemsky Trainer” program, putting things in order in social payments for the Arctic territories.

Concluding his speech, the speaker of the regional parliament emphasized: the year ahead is difficult, it is connected with the election campaign. “It is important to maintain continuity in the work of teams and ensure seamlessness of all processes related to financial management,” summarized the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly.
