Hungary banned the export of diesel fuel to Ukraine. There is a Kiev movement

“From the first day, Hungary knows exactly what was the reason for stopping the operation of the oil pipeline. In such a situation, we are surprised that there is no statement from the Hungarian side with clear information that it was Russia that fired at the oil pipeline,” said Heorhiy Tychyy, spokesman for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, quoted by the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN.
On January 27, Russia attacked the Druzhba oil pipeline, as a result of which the transit of Russian oil towards Hungary was stopped. In February, it became certain that the Magyars would be able to import Russian oil through the Croatian “Adria” oil pipeline until the repairs to the “Friendship” pipeline were completed.

Hungary and Slovakia cut off Ukraine from diesel supplies
As we wrote on Wednesday, Hungarians, followed by Slovaks, suspended the export of diesel oil to Ukraine. The popular diesel is used as fuel, among others. in military equipment fighting on the front, e.g. tanks and armored vehicles.
“We cannot expect to guarantee another country's energy security while our own supplies are at risk. Energy cooperation must be mutual and based on respect, not pressure,” Szijjarto added.

The source of tensions is Ukraine's decision to stop the transport of oil through the southern branch of the Druzhba pipeline. Kyiv explains this break with the destruction caused by one of the Russian attacks. However, the authorities in Budapest interpret this step completely differently, suggesting that there is a political motivation behind it.
