The authorities in Vrancea and Galati decided that, on Wednesday, the courses will be online in all educational units, due to the heavy snowfall. In total, there are three counties that decided to close schools because of the weather, after Giurgiu announced a similar decision already on Tuesday.
The Vrancea Prefecture announced that, considering the heavy snowfall, the strong blizzard and the Code Orange weather warning in force for Vrancea county, following the analyzes carried out by the County Committee for Emergency Situations, it was decided to suspend classes with physical presence in all educational units in Vrancea county, on Wednesday, reports News.ro.
The didactic activities are to be carried out in the online system, according to the decisions of the educational units and the school inspectorate.
A similar decision was made in Galati county, also under an orange snow code, including for schools in Galati municipality.
Giurgiu was the first county that decided on Tuesday to close schools today due to the weather.
