The simple motion signed by gold, SOS Romania and can against the PSD Minister of Labor, Simona Bucur Oprescu, was adopted by senators on Monday, with 61 votes “for” and 59 votes “against”.

• The simple motions initiated by the parliamentarians cannot dismiss a minister, even if they are voted by most parliamentarians. Only the censorship motions, which are deposited against the whole executive lead to the fall of the government, once voted by the majority of the parliamentarians.

The initiators of the motion entitled “The pension system-a game of white-black with the lives of our parents and grandparents” demand explanations regarding the freezing of pensions at the beginning of the year, the legislation without vision, which led to the deepening of the inequities in society and the inequities in the military pension system.

The parliamentarians gold, SOS and may have accused the minister of “mocking the pensioners”, they reminded that, following the recalculation, some pensions decreased.

USR Senator Irineu Darău reproached Simona Vacuum Oprescu to be too relaxed: “What would I want from a minister of work? To be very efficient, which is not the case. Or at least it is very honest and not relaxed. I have seen you in countless hypostases, at the investment, for this time, to this time.

At the beginning of the debates, the Minister of Labor Simona Bucura Oprescu said that the motion is based on false and untruth data.

“The initiation of the opposition to submit a motion (…) is an important and necessary democratic exercise. (…) but I cannot agree that this opposition approach will be built on false data, half -truths or on specially tailored omissions to distort reality and to misinform people!”

Both she and her coalition colleagues from PSD and PNL have accused that the motion is an electoral approach and that “the moment you have chosen for this motion, less than a week before the first tour of the presidential elections is not accidentally.”

“Your stake is not a correct one! It's just an electoral combination! Try to speculate the weights of the pensioners, to get their votes!”, Said Simona Oprescu.

Scandal on the voting procedure

Before the vote, the opposition parliamentarians, gold, sauce Romania and can, vehemently claimed that, instead of the electronic vote, provided by the regulation, for the simple motion the vote should be with balls.

USR Senator Stefan Pălărie told the stands that they should vote with balls as long as there are parliamentarians in the room, who want to vote and cannot because they do not have cards or because the electronic voting system does not work.

Senator Gold Laurențiu Plăeșu even accused of sabotaging the electronic system.
