A meeting between the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, and the leader of the Hungarian opposition, Peter Magyar, gave rise to a funny exchange of lines related to the politicians' names.
The meeting between the Polish prime minister and the Hungarian opposition leader comes as a new parliament is due to be elected in Hungary on April 12 and, for the first time in 16 years, right-wing populist leader Viktor Orban faces a serious challenge to hold on to power. The Tisza formation led by Peter Magyar is given by polls as the potential winner of the elections.
Introducing his colleague, “the future foreign minister of Hungary”, Anita Orban, to Tusk, Peter Magyar wanted to clarify: “The (surname) name is just a coincidence – Orban”.
Tusk's spontaneous response came immediately: “My name is Donald.”
Obviously, like that of US President Donald Trump.
Great sense of humor in this video — from absolutely everyone 😄
