“Today, I am reporting to the competent investigative authority a crime committed against unknown perpetrators for the crime of unauthorized data collection and the use of unclear means for this purpose. (…) The authorities must also investigate who committed these crimes,” he added.

Orban may lose power. Scandal with the opposition leader just before the elections

A few days ago, the leader of the Hungarian opposition, Peter Magyar, revealed that he had been receiving threats for a long time regarding the publication of a sexual film with his participation. On Platform X, the chairman of the TISHA party writes that a campaign based on Russian methods is being waged against him. So far, only a photo of the room where Magyar and his former partner, who was supposed to be on the recording, met in 2024 has appeared in the media.

The opposition leader also suggested that the Hungarian government may be responsible for the provocation and that the current action is part of a dirty campaign. The country will hold parliamentary elections in April, and polls show that Viktor Orban, who has ruled the country for 16 years, is in a losing position. TISZA and its 44-year-old leader, who condemns government corruption and wants to pursue a pro-EU policy, enjoy the greatest support.
