T2, the Russian mobile operator, is actively expanding its technical teams. The company attracts specialists, supports the professional growth of employees and invests in the training of young personnel. As part of this strategy, the operator launched the T2.Tech career landing page – a single platform with current vacancies and information about work in the technical function.
Today, the T2 technical function employs more than 3,000 specialists. They implement federal-scale projects: developing networks in megacities and small towns, providing coverage in the metro, at key transport hubs, as well as inside major infrastructure facilities.
In response to an increase in the number of ambitious projects, T2 is strengthening its efforts to attract and retain technical talent. Over the past two years, the company has doubled the influx of new employees and intends to maintain a high pace of strengthening its engineering teams. Positive dynamics are also observed in reducing the level of outflow: in 2025 it decreased by 28%.
T2 also develops opportunities for professional development. This allows employees to try themselves in new roles and directions within the company. To change tracks, just discuss career opportunities with your manager and HR partner or apply for positions from the weekly digest of internal vacancies.
The company pays special attention to working with young specialists. T2 is developing the “New Heroes” internship program, covering the most popular professional areas. At the same time, the technical track is especially popular: in 2025, the number of trainees has tripled. Internships become an entry point into the profession: 80% of program participants join the staff, and the average training period before moving to an engineering position is 7.5 months.
The logical step in attracting technical specialists was the creation of the T2.Tech career landing page. On one platform, the company combined all the necessary information for candidates: areas of technical work, key projects, career opportunities and internships.
“Expanding network coverage in all regions of T2’s presence requires strong engineering teams, so working with technical specialists remains one of our key priorities. When launching the landing page, we wanted not just to talk about vacancies, but to show the scale of the tasks our specialists are working on and the significance of their contribution to the development of telecom infrastructure,” noted Deputy General Director for Organizational Development and Human Resources Management T2 Natalia Runova.
“The demand for technical specialists in telecom is growing rapidly. In these conditions, we focus not only on attracting talented specialists, but also on creating a comfortable environment for their development. T2 provides employees with ample opportunities for professional growth: we invest in internal training, help employees build the necessary competencies and involve them in federal-scale projects,” said Deputy General Director for Technical Infrastructure T2 Alexey Dmitriev.
