In 2025, 75 wedding ceremonies were held in GUFSIN institutions in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
The press service clarified that 8 married couples got married in the temples of institutions. There were also two Muslim ritual marriages – nikah.
In the coming year, the first wedding took place in KTB-1. The 53-year-old convict and his lover registered their relationship. The ceremony was performed by an employee of the Krasnoyarsk Civil Registry Office. The newlyweds signed the civil registry book and received marriage certificates.
“I have known my wife since my school years, but the vicissitudes of fate separated our paths in life for many years. And only in 2020 we met again, and it turned out that the old feelings in my heart did not fade away and flared up with renewed vigor. We started a relationship, started living together, running a joint household, everything was fine, but I stumbled and committed a crime. However, my chosen one was not afraid of such a test of fate. While in prison, I proposed to her, to which she answered “yes,” said convicted Evgeniy K.
GUFSIN employees helped the convict collect the necessary documents and fill out an application form, and also organized the ceremony.
