Epstein files revealed. The Norwegian ambassador resigns

The resignation came after Juul's talks with the foreign ministry. Espen Barth Eide, who heads it, assessed the decision as “right and necessary”. He also pointed to a serious lack of assessment of the situation in Juul's contacts with Epstein.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs initiated an investigation into the nature of the relationship between the diplomat and Epstein. It is intended to determine whether there was a violation of the regulations applicable to state officials and whether these contacts had an impact on her diplomatic work. The proceedings will continue despite Juul's resignation.
