IMPACT Bucharest, presented by Mastercard, announces its extraordinary participation ryan reynolds, actor, producer and one of the most ingenious entrepreneurs of the moment, at the 2026 edition, which will take place on September 29-30.
Considered one of the most well-known and versatile actors in Hollywood, Reynolds has multiple Golden Globe nominations and is the producer and star of the franchise Deadpoola billion-dollar global phenomenon that reinvented the superhero genre through humor, self-deprecation, and an unconventional storytelling style.
Beyond his film career, Reynolds established himself as a new model of entrepreneur, built on creativity, speed and authenticity. He is a co-owner of Aviation American Gin and a key investor in Mint Mobile, companies later sold in deals valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars and over a billion dollars respectively. Through his production company, Maximum Effort, Reynolds became known for the concept of “fastvertising,” meaning marketing campaigns created and launched just hours after major events.
At IMPACT Bucharest 2026, Reynolds will combine stories from the film sets with experiences from the boardrooms, offering insights into creativity, leadership and decision-making. Recognized for his openness about mental health, he will also bring to the fore a lesson relevant to today's business environment: how anxiety can be transformed into preparedness, clarity and adaptability.

Impact has become a reference brand at European level. Organized in Poland since 2016, Impact events bring together business and political leaders, academic experts and influential voices from the world of art and culture. Impact Bucharest, now in its third edition, is the largest and most important economic event in Southeast Europe, offering direct access to ideas and perspectives on a wide range of topics and the opportunity to interact with business leaders from all over Europe.
In previous editions, IMPACT Bucharest brought on stage influential voices, such as Michelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States of America, and Erin Meyer, internationally recognized expert in management and organizational culture.
The 2026 edition is expected to be even larger, with approximately 2,000 participants from Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Poland and other European countries. Along with experts and business leaders, representatives of the public sector, mayors and officials of EU agencies will be present. The agenda will include discussions on economic development, innovation and the impact of connecting local, regional and global ecosystems on Romania and the region. Topics covered include defense and cyber security, green transition, digitization, future of cities, global economy, banking, leadership, health, marketing and digital commerce.
