The OSCE is ready to “make its contribution” to monitoring the ceasefire in Ukraine

Zelensky said that he informed his interlocutors about the massive attacks of the Russian aggressor country on Ukraine, diplomatic efforts to end the Russian-Ukrainian war and expectations from trilateral meetings in the UAE this week.

“We also touched upon possible formats of cooperation between Ukraine and the OSCE. I invited the OSCE to join the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children,” the president wrote. “I thank Switzerland for supporting Ukraine and for the priority of a just peace for Ukraine during the Swiss chairmanship in the OSCE.

According to Kassis, he and Sinirlioglu reaffirmed Zelensky's “strong support for a just and lasting peace based on international law.”

“The OSCE is ready, if the participating states agree and conditions allow, to contribute to monitoring the ceasefire,” emphasized its head in X.

Earlier, at the end of January, Cassis announced his visit not only to Kyiv, but also to Moscow. He noted that the OSCE should focus on its main mission – ensuring peace and security in Europe.
