Liam Rosenior continues his impressive start on the “blues” bench. Tonight's success was the Englishman's sixth win in seven games in charge at Stamford Bridge in all competitions.
Chelsea's sensational “comeback”! Rosenior's side came back from 0-2 down to win the derby with West Ham
The first half of the duel in London belonged entirely to the guests. Nuno Espirito Santo's students played excellently until half-time, managing to enter the cabins with a two-goal advantage on the table.
Jarrod Bowen opened the scoring after just seven minutes from the starting whistle for “central” Anthony Taylor, and Crysencio Summerville doubled the advantage of the “hammers” in the 37th minute. Both goals were scored from manual passes sent by Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
In the second act, however, Chelsea recovered and managed to restore parity. Introduced on the field during the second act, Joao Pedro (57') and Marc Cucurella (70') brought Rosenior's team back into the books, then in extra time (90+2'), captain Enzo Fernandez scored the winning goal from the same Joao Pedro's pass, at which point the stadium exploded.
Those from West Ham had a few more minutes to restore the balance on the table, but the defense of the home team resisted. What's more, Nuno Espirito Santo's side ended the game with 10 men after stopper Jean-Clair Todibo was sent off for grabbing Joao Pedro by the neck in a general brawl involving players from both teams.

Following this result, Rosenior's team accumulated 40 points and returned to the 4th position in the standings, thus surpassing Manchester United, who will play Fulham at Old Trafford tomorrow.
On the other hand, the “hammers” remained in 18th place, the first below the red line, with only 20 points.
In the next stage of the Premier League, Chelsea will perform at Molineux Stadium, against the last ranked Wolverhampton, while West Ham will also play away at Turf Moor with the newly promoted Burnley.
