The prosecutor's office did not name the person involved, but Suspilne indicated that we are talking about Alexei Tandyr, accused of a fatal accident at a checkpoint at the entrance to Kyiv. As a result, a 22-year-old soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine died.
The prosecutor insisted on extending custody without setting bail. The court partially granted the prosecutor's request, applying a preventive measure to the accused in the form of detention with bail set at 119 million 880 thousand UAH.
As “Babel” noted, at the trial Tandir stated that he did not have that kind of money. For now he was returned to the pre-trial detention center.
