The arch on Peace Square is planned to be completely renovated for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. The first sketches were shown to the townspeople.
Let us remind you that the city authorities have announced tenders for the development of design estimates for the improvement of the square. By the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, the space should become the main square of the regional capital.
As gornovosti.ru writes, the existing arch of the 375th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk is being dismantled. Instead, a new one will appear – the arch of the 400th anniversary of the city. The silhouette of a fort tower and a chapel were built into its architecture. The arch itself will be made of glass and metal, and at the base there will be a stone foundation with memorial plaques. The structure will be illuminated.
Experts plan to make the arch “a portal between the square and the historical space of Mira Avenue.”
