Scientists from Krasnoyarsk are included in the world rating of the most cited researchers

The oldest scientific publishing house Elsevier, together with Stanford University, published lists of the most cited scientists in the world. Krasnoyarsk residents also got into a prestigious rating, the press service of the Siberian Federal University reports.

Materials on the topic

In the category “The most cited in the entire career” noted:

  • Andrey Kolovsky, professor of the Department of Theoretical Physics and wave phenomena;
  • Evgeny Vaganov, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, former rector of the SFU;
  • Tatyana Volova, professor, Head of the Basic Department of Biotechnology;
  • Faris Gelmukhanov, professor, chief researcher at the International Research Center for Spectroscopy and Quantum Chemistry of the Siberian Federal District;
  • Vladimir Rybakov, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Algebra and Mathematical Logic.

The list “The most quoted for 2024” also feature Krasnoyarsk researchers Vladislav Kukarstsev, Anna Kazachenko, Andrei Minakov, Mikhail Gladyshev and Alexander Kirdyanov.

The rating is based on SCOPUS data and includes more than 230 thousand scientists from around the world, including about a thousand Russian specialists.
