The weather is closed on Monday, January 26, with rain across the country and sleet in the mountains. At the same time, the weather is warming up, and the temperatures are even above the normal for the calendar period, according to the forecast issued by ANM.
According to ANM, on Monday, the weather will be generally cloudy, but with thermal values above the climatological averages specific to the period in most areas. It will temporarily rain in all regions, and there will be mixed precipitation in the mountains. They will be quantitatively significant in the south of Banat, in the north of Oltenia and Muntenia, as well as in the area of the Southern, Western and Curbura Carpathians, where they will favor the melting of the snow layer.
In these areas, 20…35 l/m2 will accumulate and locally over 40 l/m2, and at altitudes generally above 1700 m, a layer of snow of 20…30 cm will be deposited and the wind will increase with speeds of 70…90 km/h, temporarily blowing the snow and causing visibility to drop below 100 m.
In the rest of the territory, the wind will blow weakly and moderately, in places with intensifications of 30…50 km/h in the southwest, southeast and center. Maximum temperatures will generally be between 3 and 13 degrees, and minimum temperatures will be between 0 and 5 degrees. There will be fog in small areas, especially in the morning and at night.

And in the capital, ANM announces that temperatures will rise and will be far above those specific to the period. The sky will be cloudy and it will rain moderately quantitatively (10…20 l/m2), and the wind will blow moderately (speeds of 35…40 km/h).
The maximum temperature will be 10…12 degrees, and the minimum 3…4 degrees.
