Online petition for hot water and heat at normal parameters in the Capital. “We don't want explanations anymore, we want solutions”

A woman from Bucharest, Cristina Dirnea, launched an online petition asking the Capital City Hall and the companies Termoenergetica and Elcen to supply hot water and heat at normal parameters.

In the petition, Cristina Dirnea describes the situation faced by tenants: “Heaters are cold or stagnant and the tap is cold or just stagnant. We pay for hot water, but it runs cold. We leave the faucet running hoping it gets hot while the bills keep coming. We don't want explanations, we want solutions.”

Through this initiative, the petitioner requests:

1. Transparent communication on the real causes of the defects and the specific deadline for remediation;
2. Daily publication of the real situation of the blocks without thermal agent at normal parameters;
3. Clear measures to restore the supply of hot water and heat;
4. Compensation for tenants who, although paying for hot water, only receive cold water.
