CSM Bucharest, the champion of Romania, announced on Friday evening a new transfer for the upcoming competitive season. The “tigresses” managed to obtain the signature of the pivot Pernille Brandenborg (28 years old).

The move of the player who is the captain of the Faroe Islands national team was made official through a press release.

CSM Bucharest is one of the most active teams in this period, managing several transfers for the upcoming season. Officially, Pernille Brandenborg is the fourth player acquired by the Romanian champion.

“Born on July 29, 1997, Pernille Brandenborg is a handball player from Denmark, with origins in the Faroe Islands, who currently plays for Storhamar HE. She is also an iconic presence in the Faroe Islands women's national team, where she also holds the role of captain.

The future athlete of the CSM made her debut for the national team of the Faroe Islands on December 2, 2016, in a match against Macedonia, and participated with the national team of the Faroe Islands in the European Women's Handball Championship held in Hungary, Switzerland and Austria, the competition ended in 17th place in the general ranking.

At the recently concluded World Championship (also in 17th place), Pernille was part of his country's squad that had remarkable success (wins against Spain and Paraguay and a draw against Serbia), scoring no less than 34 goals.

CSM Bucharest, important transfers for next season

Until now, for the upcoming competitive season, CSM Bucharest has secured the signatures of Daria Dmitrieva, Dorottya Faluvegi and Csenge Kuczora.

Also, the pivot Crina Pintea and the extreme left Emma Friis gave their consent and signed a new contract with CSM Bucharest, extending the agreements.

From GSP.ro informationgoalkeepers Yuliya Dumanska (29 years old) and Denisa Șandru (31 years old) will also join those from CSM Bucharest in the summer.
