The official White House account published a graphic on Wednesday showing the choice facing Greenlanders as an alternative between the United States, Russia and China. This is another gesture of the Trump administration seeking to annex the island.

The image posted by the White House account on the X platform shows two dog sleds with Greenlandic flags standing in front of a crossroads: one leading to the sunny White House, the other to Moscow and Beijing, over which lightning is shooting. “Where to, Greenland man?” – reads the signature (https://x.com/WhiteHouse/status/2011476301060702329?s=20)

The entry, which is a version of a popular meme and a phrase popular in right-wing circles: “Where to, Western man?”, illustrates the morning declaration of President Donald Trump, who on Wednesday once again emphasized that nothing short of owning Greenland is acceptable to him. The US president has repeatedly said in recent days that if the US does not acquire Greenland, Russia or China will do so.
This is another meme published by the White House about Greenland. The previous ones presented, among others: Trump looking out the window of the Oval Office at a map of Greenland.
The entry was posted at the time when Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Mark Rubia were meeting at the White House with the foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland, Lars Lokke Rasmussen and Vivian Motzfeldt.
