KSeF from February 1. Can this be stopped? The Minister of Finance explains


According to Andrzej Domański, four formal meetings will be held this year on Poland's path to the G20 group. “We were invited to this group not as an observer, but as a full member. This is evidenced by the participation in the talks of both the representative of the Polish Ministry of Finance, but also of the central bank,” argues Andrzej Domański, adding that this is possible thanks to the very good, in his opinion, macroeconomic parameters achieved by the Polish economy.
According to the minister, a significant change in the government's economic policy last year was better coordination of the activities of development institutions such as PFR, PAIH, and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and Poland's accelerating economic diplomacy in Europe.
“The demand for this type of meetings from Polish companies is huge,” says Andrzej Domański. He added that the government is also working on a new state purchasing policy, which is to be published in the coming weeks. In his opinion, this is to be one of the important elements of the strategy local contenti.e. engaging Polish companies in large investment projects, including infrastructure ones.
“2026 will be a year of investment acceleration” – declares Andrzej Domański and argues that this is already visible in the banking sector data and the growing lending dynamics in the corporate segment from the third quarter of 2025.

“We have a year of macro acceleration ahead of us,” concludes the minister, adding that the level assumed by the government at 3.5%. GDP growth is conservative compared to the forecasts of many independent financial institutions.
When asked about expectations regarding the level of interest rates, the minister said that although he does not comment on the actions of the Monetary Policy Council, some economists assume that we will see another reduction in February.
