
Ukrainian singer Khayat received the maximum number of votes during online voting in the Diya application and thus became the tenth participant in the Ukrainian national selection for Eurovision 2026. This was announced on January 13 on the application’s Facebook page.
Voting started on January 8 and ended on the 13th. A total of 280 thousand people voted. Of these, 32.41% voted for Khayat.
The singer will compete for the right to represent Ukraine at the international song competition with the song “Herzi”. The final of the Ukrainian national selection will take place on February 7.
The finalists of the national selection also included:

- Mr. Vel;
- band The Ellisens;
- Valeriya Force;
- group “PikeRiba”.
The organizers of the national selection announced their names in early December 2025.
