A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory stabbed his father to death because of suspicions of wanting to kill him

In the Uzhursky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the court arrested a 23-year-old local resident suspected of murdering his father.

The crime was committed on January 10 this year. The investigation established that a young man, who had previously been treated for a psychiatric illness, approached his father from behind and stabbed him at least three times, as a result of which he died on the spot before the ambulance arrived.

During interrogation, the attacker's mother said that he had recently become very suspicious and had told her and his father several times that they wanted to kill him.

“On the day of the incident, the woman and her husband were clearing snow from the fence, and she wrote the word “Love” and drew hearts on the snow lying on the trunk of their car. During interrogation, the suspect said that over the past two years it seemed to him that his father wanted to kill him, although he did not commit any such actions. On January 10, he saw on the trunk of his car an inscription in the snow “I love” and three hearts, and therefore decided that his father had left him a last inscription, hinting that he wanted to kill him. Then he took a knife and stabbed his father in the courtyard of the house,” said the joint press service of the regional courts.

When deciding whether to select a preventive measure for the guy, the court took into account that he is suspected of committing a particularly serious crime, as well as the fact that his mother insisted on taking her son into custody because she fears him.
