VTB issued 6 million Pushkin cards

VTB Bank has issued more than 6 million Pushkin cards, and the number of tickets purchased using them has already exceeded 5 million. Since the beginning of the year, spending on tickets has exceeded 3 billion rubles.

VTB became the bank operator of the Pushkin card from January 1. Since the beginning of the year, young people have been actively applying for cards and making purchases with them. Thus, over the past month, more than 400 thousand cards were issued and almost 2 million tickets worth over 1 billion rubles were purchased.

Most often, Pushkin cards were used in Mordovia (65% of cardholders actively make purchases), Kemerovo region (62%), North Ossetia (60%) and Chuvashia (59%).

The Pushkin Card program was launched in 2021. Its goal is to increase the accessibility of cultural events for young people and attract them to the arts: theaters, museums, concerts and cinema. The Pushkin Card is available to young people from 14 to 22 years old inclusive. The state annually transfers a subsidy of 5 thousand rubles for it, which can only be spent on tickets to cultural events (going to theaters and cinema, visiting exhibitions and concerts). At the same time, you can spend up to 2 thousand rubles from the limit on cinemas.
