Cutting out American intelligence assistance is not a strong enough card to impose surrender to Ukraine – said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski in an interview with the New York Times. Sikorski also assessed that Russia lost at least $ 200 billion in the war. And almost a million soldiers.

According to other experts cited by the newspaper, almost the surrender would be the acceptance of the conditions by the US by Kiev, including the recognition of the annexation of Crimea.
According to Fabian Zuleeg, the head of the Brussels Think Tank European Policy Center, the American proposal “basically gives Russia a victory that he cannot achieve on the battlefield”, and is allying with Russia, treason of Ukraine and European security. He added that the recognition of the annexation of Crimea is a “negation of the principles of European peace and undermines the entire European security architecture since World War II.”
Sikorski drew attention to the costs that Russia suffered during the war, estimating them at at least $ 200 billion and almost a million killed and wounded soldiers. “This is not my definition of victory,” the minister said.
At the same time, he assessed that Europe “understands the stake” and would continue to support Kyiv.
“Poland will certainly do it and we are not the only ones,” he added.
